Bio

Dr. George Haleblian is an associate surgeon at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Associate Professor of Surgery at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Haleblian received his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College, his medical degree from the University of Southern California, and completed his urology residency at the University of Massachusetts Memorial Medical Center. He subsequently completed a fellowship in endourology and laparoscopic surgery at Duke University Hospital.   Dr. Haleblian’s clinical interests include metabolic and surgical management of kidney stones and the minimally invasive management of prostate, kidney and bladder malignancies. Dr. Haleblian’s research focuses include dietary manipulation for prevention of urinary tract stone formation and the development of new technologies for management of kidney stones. He is actively involved in research investigating modeling of shock wave dynamics in a virtual human during shock wave lithotripsy.
