Dr. Joel Edward Goldberg is a surgeon at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH). He received his medical degree from Tulane University Medical Center. Dr. Goldberg completed two surgery residencies at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and another surgery residency at BWH. In addition to his three surgery residencies, Dr. Goldberg completed a surgery fellowship at the University of Minnesota.  

Dr. Goldberg is board certified in surgery as well as colon and rectal surgery. His clinical interests include, anorectal surgery, cancer surgery, colon disease and surgery, Crohn's disease, diverticular disease, inflammatory bowel disease, laparoscopic surgery, rectal surgery, sphincter sparing surgery, and ulcerative colitis.
