Dr. Christian Sampson is a staff surgeon in the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Harvard Medical School.  He holds a subspecialty certification in Hand Surgery.  Dr. Sampson specializes in the management of all hand and upper extremity conditions including carpal tunnel syndrome, cubital tunnel syndrome, medial and lateral epicondylitis, tendon repairs and transfers, and nerve repair.  He further specializes in complex hand microsurgery in the management of vascular compromise of the hand due to hypothenar hammer syndrome, Raynaud’s syndrome, and other conditions.  Dr. Sampson’s practice philosophy is to treat all patients equally and to ensure each patient fully understands their diagnosis and treatment plan, and to be readily available throughout the course of treatment.

Dr. Sampson’s research interests include the use of Botulinum A Toxin as a means of therapeutic management of digital ischemia and Raynaud’s disease.
