Dr. Brendan M. Everett is the director of the General Cardiology Inpatient Service at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH). A cardiovascular medicine specialist, he is also an assistant professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School (HMS).
Dr. Everett earned his medical degree from HMS. He completed an internal medicine residency and a cardiovascular disease fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital. He then completed research fellowships in cardiovascular medicine and cardiovascular epidemiology at BWH. Dr. Everett is board certified in cardiovascular disease.
His clinical interests include coronary heart disease, lipid disorders, preventive cardiology and valvular heart disease. The author of 36 peer-reviewed publications, Dr. Everett’s research explores the key genetic and epidemiologic determinants of the risks and prevention of coronary and cerebrovascular atherothrombosis. His research has received support from the American Heart Association and National Institutes of Health.
