Dr. Paul Nguyen is an internationally-recognized expert in prostate cancer clinical care and research. He has published over 350 original research articles and has national leadership as Co-Chair of the National Cancer Institute's GU Steering Committee, Chair of the ARS/ACR Appropriateness Criteria Committee for Prostate Cancer, and Chair of the ASTRO Annual Refresher Course.
He is the Principal Investigator of the multi-center randomized FORMULA-509 trial and the national NRG Oncology GU-009/PREDICT-RT trial, and co-chair of the international randomized ENZARAD trial. His research is supported by an NIH R-01 grant. He serves as the DF/BWCC Genitourinary Clinical Center Director for Radiation Oncology, Vice-Chair for Clinical Research in the Department of Radiation Oncology, Professor at Harvard Medical School, and Baldwin-Politi Distinguished Chair in Oncology at Brigham and Women's Hospital where he is also associate director of the Harvard Radiation Oncology Program residency.
He received his AB from Harvard College, MD from Harvard Medical School, MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management, and completed his residency at the Harvard Radiation Oncology Program where he served as chief resident.
