Michael Hayes, MD, came to the Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) to develop the DBS Program and to head the new Department of Neurology at South Shore Hospital as the Vice Chair of Community Neurology at BWH. His clinical interests include investigating disease process, development of new indications and targets for DBS, and investigating other functional neurosurgical techniques in the treatment of movement disorders. Dr. Hayes is an Instructor in Neurology at Harvard Medical School.
