Dr Rick Horan attended Harvard Medical School, completed residency in internal medicine at the New England Deaconess (Now Beth Israel Deaconess) Hospital and in dermatology at the MGH/combined Harvard Dermatology program. He trained for a year in Rheumatology and Immunology at New England Medical Center before fellowship in Allergy at the Brigham and Women's Hospital. He joined the hospital staff in 1986. He sees patients in the outpatient allergy office in Chestnut Hill. He has a special interest in systemic mastocytosis, chronic urticaria, and atopic dermatitis.
